TCA 2012 Fashion!

Teen Choice Awards was yesterday, Sunday July 22nd 2012. Star such as Nina Dobrev, Kat Graham, Ian Somerhalder, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Paul Wesley attended the TCA 2012  and the pink carpet. The hosts were Demi Lovato and Kevin McHale and the DJ was DJ Pauly D! TCA was held at Gibson Amphitheathre in California.

The best dressed list includes: Vanessa Marano, Kat Graham and Lea Michele.

The worse dressed list includes: Nikki Reed, Debby Ryan and Miranda Crosgrove.

Vanessa Marano - Kat Graham - Lea Michele

Vanessa Marano wore a Ted Baker dress, Q by Pasquale shoes, Dogeared bracelets, and an Erica Courtney necklace. Even though she looked very fashion forward and glam rock inspired, I would have like to see more color in there. It's the Teen Choice Awards and it's summer, how many more reasons so you need to wear color? The Switched at Birth star paired zipper statement heels with a zipper dress with a peplum, normally this would look cliche, but somehow it all worked out!

Lea wore a strapless mini Versace dress and shoes, a Marchesa bag with Stephen Webster jewels. What I love about Lea Michele is that she never looks like her character Rachel Berry. It's always very clear that Lea and Rachel are totally different people. Lea looks good most of the time and last night was no exception. She looked very good in her almost princess like glitter mini Versace.

Kat Graham in Mara Hoffman

Kat Graham actually changed this dress (I don't know why anyone would want to do that) for a V-neck flowery jacket with shorts and a white clutch and white pointy heels. Surprisingly that outfit was also successful, that doesn't happen a lot. The fact that Kat had the guts to wear this sleeveless printed Mara Hoffman dress with a light pink and yellow clutch, a gold chain and matching Gio Diev pumps, is what got her to best dressed. Kat is next to Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Solange one of the most fiercest people I've ever seen. She reminds me a lot of Solange who is also not afraid to do anything wrong and right when it comes to fashion. Kat even had the guts to wear orange lipstick with a black and white mini one time. For fierce people it's always a really big hit or a really big miss. Kat did very well last night. She managed to look good and in style for this summer. I would also like to congratulate her on her TCA.

 Worst Dressed:

Nikki Reed in Contrarian NY

Nikki is wearing an Contrarian New York corset top and skirt with Brian Atwood heels, a Jimmy Choo clutch and jewels by ISTA, Cleo and Bing Bang. Nikki missed in almost every way last night. That dress doesn't flatter her, it's not in and it's definitely not showing that it's summer. The heels and the clutch are the only things that match. The only thing I liked about this outfit is the clutch and the length.



Debby Ryan in Bibhu Mohapatra

Debby Ryan wore a Bibhu Mohapatra pink, orange, black and white long sleeved dress with shoulder cut-outs. She also brought an Edie Parker glitter grey clutch and she wore black and white peep toe Chanel heels. Debby was on the right track when she picked that dress. It slims her down and it's in right now. She missed the mark because her dress is too long and the styling is off. I would have made the dress shorter and tighter. Her hot pink lipstick needs to go, her clutch is way too eye catching with such a busy dress and so are those heels. I wish she put nude lip gloss with hot pink nail polish and and black ankle booties. It seems like too much is going on for one outfit.

Miranda Crosgrove in Collette Dinnigan

Miranda is wearing a Collette Dinnigan dress with Stella McCartney shoes and a Judith Leiber clutch and Stephen Webster jewelry. When I saw this Collette Dinnigan dress hit the runway, it looked way more youthful than it does right now. I love the shoes, I love the clutch and I even love the bottom of that dress. The top of that dress is not flattering at all. It also feels like she's going to a rock concert instead of a summer event for teens.

Nina Dobrev in J. Mendel

Nina is wearing a J Mendel dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, Kotur clutch and Coomi jewelry. Nina always finds a way to look girl, not too sexy and fashionable at the same time. Is this one of my favorite dresses she's worn? No, but I've seen much worse.

Selena Gomez in Dsquared2

 The birthday girl is wearing a hot pink mini dress by Dsquared2 and white strappy Herve Leger heels. When I saw this dress on Cara Delevingne for the Dsquared Resort 2013 campaign, I immediately knew a teen would wear it this summer. It's the perfect dress for such an event and neon is really in. She looked super fun and flirty last night in her hot pink mini. It was young and it was perfect for the TCAs.

Demi Lovato

The TCAs co-host Demi looked like one of the carnival dancers from Brazil. I'm not used to seeing Demi in this sort of style. I don't hate it and I actually really like it because it slims down her waist and it's so well constructed. With that said it's not a dress you wear to the TCAs. It looks too over-dressed.

Candice Accola

 Candice Accola is one of those actresses that doesn't need a bright yellow dress and bright orange lipstick and clutch to look happy. She always looks happy even when she has no face expression. It was very bold of her to mix, with orange and yellow and brown and then bright orange lipstick, but somehow it all works out.

We have seen this outfit a million times, there's nothing wrong with it but it's been done a million times. 

Kendall  and Kylie Jenner

Kendall Jenner looked very age appropriate, it's short, it's one shoulder and it's stylish. I like that she paired her one dark blue one shoulder with nude pumps. Kylie however looks way too old. Those heels make her hips look wide and those silver heels make the outfit even worse.

No Doubt

No Doubt is back! Their new single "Settle Down" has been released and they even shot a video for it. They also performed Settle Down at the TCAs. Many people (like me) are looking forward to see what style No Doubt will again bring to the red carpet. They all looked very classic and edgy at the TCAs last night. It's a good comeback and thumbs up to Gwen for that sleeveless leather jacket.

Taylor Swift Maria Lucia Hohan

Taylor wore a Maria Lucia Hohan dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Prada peep toe shoes and an Edie Parker clutch. Haven't we seen this before? This is totally again expected from Taylor! A shorter version of every princess inspired dress she's ever worn. It's not a bad dress, it's actually very nice, but so expected! I wish she would for once step out of her comfort zone (I've wished this a million times).

Victoria Justice in Gomez-Garcia

Victoria Justice wore a Gomez-Garcia dress with nude Schutz pumps and a brown Lauren Merkin dress. I liked this outfit. She styled it very well, I just wished that she put something bright, like a neon clutch just to give the outfit an alive look.

Laura Marano in Alice + Olivia

Laura wore a hot pink one shoulder dress by Alice + Olivia, Q by Pasquale shoes and an Erica Courtney bracelet. Good color, good dress and good heels.

Taylor Spreitler

Taylor wore a Keepsake top and Naven skirt. She wore jewelry by Vanessa Mooney and Beverly Jill, a clutch by FAB and Chinese Laundry heels. I like her top and skirt it's very young and summer-ish and I also like the way she accessorized her outfit. The ring with the nude clutch and her necklace go very well with her outfit. The platform heels did kill the outfit. The color is off! 

Holland Roden in Alice + Olivia

Holland wore an Alice + Olivia dress with nude pointy Christian Louboutin heels. She also wore Neil Lane jewelry and a nude Lauren Merkin clutch. This dress looked way more well-structured when it hit the runway. You can see from the very beginning that it's an A + O dress. This dress would have make Holland look her age if she made it way shorter. She reminds me of a combination between Adele and Lana Del Rey with those earrings and the hair and the nude lip gloss.

Hayden Panettiere in Zuhair Murad

Hayden is wearing a Zuhair Murad dress, B by Brian Atwood shoes and a Judith Leiber bag. Hayden was also one of favorites. Even though she wore everything purple, the outfit doesn't look too matchy-matchy.

Lucy Hale in Wes Gordon

Lucy wore a Wes Gordon dress, Brian Atwood shoes, Jimmy Choo stingray clutch, Bang Bang gold spike stud earrings, and Giles and Brother bracelets. This Wes Gordon dress reminds me of a dress Leighton Meester wore to an Herbal Essences event. I also like it on Lucy. I'm not so fond of the gold shoes but the gold clutch and the gold bracelets are good with the dress.

Ashley Benson

Ashley wore a Monique Lhuillier top, cropped Balenciaga pants, and Jimmy Choo heels. Ashley Benson surprised me the most last night! This outfit doesn't flatter her in any way, but it's nice being surprised sometimes. The cropped pants were a good idea they make the outfit a bit less serious.

Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell wore a Donna Karan Atelier dress, Camilla Skovgaard shoes and a Jimmy Choo bag. I'm not very fond of this dress, even though most people loved it. I feel like something is missing, because the outfit is so plain. Shay normally hits the mark, this is not my favorite Shay Mitchell look.

Chelsea Kane

Chealsea looked alright. I've been waiting for someone to wear shorts all night. Finally someone who was brave enough! Those Alice and Olivia shorts are amazing and the bright heels are perfect for summer, I'm not so sure about the shirt though!

Belle Thorne in All Saints

Belle is wearing Brian Atwood shoes and an All Saints skirt. This is the very last outfit I saw and it was a nice surprise. I love that she kept it neutral and then added glitter shoes. Her make-up looks great, her accessories look great, thumb up!
