For this season Carolina Herrera managed to bring a collection for both the fierce and the fashion-minded girls, which are two totally different girls. The fierce girls are the girls who are not afraid to try anything when it comes to fashion. That can go from a bold lip color to a bold print. In this category we can put Solange Knowles and Kat Graham. The fashion-minded girls are not necessarily always safe, but they go for simple with a statement shoe or fancy accessoires. Both girls are represented in this collection.
Carolina Herrera focused on color, print and expensive looking fabric. She went for color-blocking, lace and nude color combinations. The collection is very youthful and modern and I loved the way she played with the bright orange. With a couple of looks she added a hint of orange and some were full orange. She also wasn't afraid to put a structured blazer, coat-dress and shorts between all the elegant and fashion forward pieces.
Carolina Herrera got Jourdan Dunn, Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls and Kasia Struss to walk in her Runway extravaganza. Both Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne - along with David Gandy - are nominated for Model of the Year at the BFA (British Fashion Awards) this year. Jourdan Dunn has won this award already in '08. She claimed to have been very nervous before and during her speech. Jourdan and Cara have done a lot of Fashion related shows together. For instance they both walked for Burberry last season and they both star in the Burberry Beauty shoots. It has been a big year for both and I can't wait to see them more often.

Here are a couple of my favorite looks:
This Carolina Herrera collection is one of the few collections where I immediatly thought of a few celebs who would wear some of these pieces. One of them was Kat Graham.
