Bottega Veneta RTW Spring/Summer 2013 collection!

Bottega Veneta will always give you the vintage side of things. Further more they don't follow trends, they simply stick with their esthetic. They like vintage florals and vintage dark colors. I'm not a huge Bottega Veneta fan because it's really not that fun to look at a collection with three different colors that are all dark! With that said I do like some vintage styles, which their collections represent, and they also photograph well. The only problem is that vintage doesn't always look stop-and-stare on the red carpet. My favorite piece of this collection is the floral dress with a tiny belt (look #11).

Bottega Veneta is currently owned by Gucci, they bought it in 2001. Bottega Veneta was founded in 1966 by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro. The name of the collection means Venetian atelier and they have more than 140 stores worldwide. Their headquarter is in Italy.

Here are a couple of my favorite looks:

Here is the rest of the collection so you can pick your favorites:

Who doesn't enjoy something vintage every now and then? Then again there would not be vintage if we didn't modernize our thoughts and the way we look at the world. So we have to appreciate vintage because it means basic and it brought us to where we are.
Much Love,
