Victoria by Victoria Beckham RTW Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

Huge accessories and extra high platform shoes were dominating Victoria by Victoria Beckham's RTW SS2013 collection. Victoria claims to be inspired by California style for this season's collection. I guess u can see it slightly is some way. One piece specifically is a print of a picture of the sun. That one is my favorite look of the collection, because it looks like it has been tie dyed. I don't really feel like most of the pieces resemble each other, like they shouldn't be in the same collection. I also don't find it very modern and what makes it older that it already looks are the shoes! With that said some of the pieces have the potential (if they're styled right) to be good. Like the blue long-sleeved lace dress, it would look great with a thin red belt.

Victoria Beckham
This 38 year old songwriter, singer - and newly fashion designer - is originally famous from the all female British band Spice Girls. Spice Girls reunited for this years Olympics which was held in the UK. Even though her self titled collections are new, Victoria is not new to the Fashion Planet. She has designed jeans for Rock & Republic and she has designed handbags and jewelry for Samantha Thavasa and Shiatzy Chen. She also designed sunglasses and has a fragrance on her name. Next to that she has an autobiographical book and a fashion advise book. David and Victoria Beckham have four kids and together they are worth about 125 million pounds!

Here are a couple of my favorite looks:

Here is the rest of the collection:

I'm just used to seeing more Victoria in her collections, which was missing a bit in this collection.
She has a customer base and she must be doing something right for her to be this successful, so why change right?
Much Love,
